Celypha rufana is a small moth species of the family Tortricidae. Long known under the junior synonym C. rosaceana, it is found in Europe.
The wingspan is 15-19 mm. The moth flies from June to September in the temperate parts of its range (e.g. Belgium and The Netherlands).
The caterpillars feed on Sonchus sow thistles and Common Dandelion (Taraxacum officinale); they have also been reported[1] to be myrmecophilous.
